Consultation
You will meet with a qualified healthcare provider to discuss your medical history, symptoms, and goals for the procedure. The provider will determine if you are a good candidate for the P-Shot and answer any questions you may have.
Blood draw
A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm, similar to a routine blood test.
Processing of PRP
The blood is processed in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the other components.
Injection of PRP
The PRP is injected into specific areas of the penis, typically the corpus cavernosum and glans, using a thin needle. Local anesthesia may be applied to reduce discomfort during the injection.
Post-injection care
You will be advised to avoid sexual activity, heavy exercise, and strenuous activity for at least 24 to 48 hours after the procedure. You may experience mild swelling, bruising, or discomfort at the injection site, which typically resolves within a few days.
